Dint is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your financial data is personal, and we believe it should stay that way. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Data We Collect
Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
- Purchase items you add (name, price, category)
- Cooldown timer settings and history
- Want vs Need classifications
- Spending insights and statistics
- Achievement progress
- App preferences and settings
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information
- Bank account or payment card details
- Location data
- Contacts or phone data
- Browsing history
Cloud Backup (Optional)
If you choose to enable cloud backup:
- Your data is encrypted before transmission
- Data is stored securely using Firebase services
- Only you can access your data with your credentials
- You can delete your cloud data at any time
- We do not access, read, or analyze your spending data
Third-Party Services
Dint may use the following services:
- RevenueCat - For managing premium subscriptions. RevenueCat receives only transaction data from the app stores, not your spending data.
- Firebase - For optional cloud backup (if enabled). Data is encrypted and stored in compliance with GDPR.
Analytics
Dint does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics that track individual users. We may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports to improve app stability.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your spending data is yours alone.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Export all your data from the app
- Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
- Delete cloud data through app settings (if enabled)
- Request information about data we hold
Children's Privacy
Dint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
