Partnership with Bipolar UK
This app is developed in partnership with Bipolar UK. Bipolar UK does not have access to individual user data. No personal health information is shared with Bipolar UK or any third party.

Data Stored Locally
All your health data is stored only on your device:
- Mood entries and ratings
- Sleep duration and quality logs
- Medication records
- Screening questionnaire responses
- Warning signs you identify
- Notes and observations
- App preferences and settings
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your name or personal identification
- Medical records or NHS number
- Location data
- Contacts or phone data
- Healthcare provider information
Your Health Data
Your health data stays on your device. We cannot see your mood entries, medication records, or any health information you log. This data is never transmitted to our servers or shared with anyone.
Sharing with Healthcare Providers
The app allows you to export your data to share with healthcare providers. This is entirely your choice:
- You control what data to export
- You choose who to share it with
- Exports are generated locally on your device
- We are not involved in the sharing process
No Cloud Storage
The Bipolar UK Mood Tracker does not offer cloud backup. All data remains on your device. If you uninstall the app or change devices, your data will not transfer automatically. We recommend regularly exporting your data for your records.
Third-Party Services
The Bipolar UK Mood Tracker uses minimal third-party services:
- Crash reporting - Anonymous crash data may be collected to improve app stability. This does not include any health data.
We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics tracking, or any services that could access your health information.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with:
- Bipolar UK (our charity partner)
- Insurance companies
- Employers
- Advertisers
- Government agencies
- Any third parties
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Export all your data at any time using the in-app export feature
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Your data cannot be recovered once deleted
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 16. Bipolar disorder diagnosis and management should be supervised by healthcare professionals for young people.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
